Temples of Maharashtra, India

SHEGAON:
Popular pilgrimage destination.. Samadhi place of Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj..
It has a tourist attraction called "Anand Sagar".
We lived there for 2 days. First day, we visited the temple and next day, Anand Sagar. It has quite large expanse, and takes almost whole day to view each and every part inside. Here are the pictures of the temple:

We had lived in this Government lodging, which had so many facilities like 5-star hotel! :D

PAITHAN:
Saint Jaganade Maharaj Temple is in Paithan, close to Jayakwadi dam. He was one of fourteen cymbal players employed by Shri Tukaram Maharaj, a prominent Marathi saint. Jaganade recorded several of Tukaram's Abhangs.
On the way to Jayakwadi dam, we visited temple in Paithan. Paithan is also famous for manufacturing the beautiful Paithani sarees. These sarees are considered as a status symbol for Marathi women.

MADHI:
After visiting Jayakwadi dam, we went to temple in Madhi village of Ahnednagar district. It is the Samadhi place (grave) of Shri Kanifnath, one of the Navnaths. Here are the pictures:

The legend says that Shri Kanifnath was born from the ear of an elephant.

From Madhi, we can view the Samadhi place of Shri Machindranath, Sawargaon
